The Grade 11's and I were experimenting with creating clouds, as part of our study of Liberty Leading the People.
You could use a similar technique for your drawings.

Use the halftone filter on pixlr or the cutout filter on photoshop to create your own poster style portrait. Try experiment with a power pose.
