Grade 10 Visual Art and Design:shape/form/line poster
Your next poster is based on shape, form and line. You have being working on the following exercises/illustrations:
1. Creating an eva stamp from positive and negative shapes.
2. Exploring how shapes create 3-dimensional forms such as cones, cylinders and cubes.
3. Your figure collage (see Picasso's three musicians for inspiration)
4. Your 5 blocks filled with various types of lines
6. Using line to create a drawing of a face.

-definitions of shape/line/form
-difference between positive and negative shapes
-geometric shapes and organic shapes
-outlined and non-outlined shapes
-implied line
-types of line
-how line creates boundaries
-contour lines
-vertical horizontal and diagonal lines-emotional qualities of line

Grade 10 positive and negative shapes
Grade 10's today you will be looking at positive and negative spaces, as well as how shapes (flat elements) create three-dimensional forms. Remember there are two types of shapes (geometric and organic).
